Tempest
A look at the skies in northern Illinois while storms and tornadoes battered the southern U.S. Spring is the time when the cold of winter is replaced by the warm of summer. It does not change peacefully, however.

Really nice exposure here, and i think both of them would look fantastic in black and white.
Keeping our southern neighbors in prayer...
I will also look forward to your robin family photos :o)
I produced a video {very amateur} of the robin family that nested on the brick post by my front door...

Have a wonderful weekend!

James your pictures are amazing. I too am a fellow neighbor (Gilberts) and for years I have walked over the very same grounds which you have so beautifully captured. I have always sensed a level of spiritualism when I look across a field, or into the clouds or pass by a broken down barn. It is all amazing and it speaks volumes to me. I have used this beauty to help push me with expressing this love for our land with poetry. It has been one of the things that has inspired me as well. So glad I happened upon your blog.

I think the image captures the transition of a season very well.
