Three million turns make a straight line

The shortest path between two points may be a straight line, but that only works in theory and makes for a lousy story. Life is more complicated. The straightest path is still a series of turns - some small, some big – on the way to the destination.

Hope you’re negotiating those turns successfully today.

I been blogged: One of my photos has been grabbed to illustrate a post that advocates starting a journey in a big way.

I hope you have pointed this out to the blogger. The very least he could do is give you a credit??

Dave,
All is cool. He gave me a credit and a link to the original photo on Flickr at the end of the post.

This photo really jumped off the screen at me -- I just had to post a comment. But then I noticed a big halo around the fence post. HRD? Or was a smaller brush required?

James...

Thanks for coming to my rescue. I would certainly never use even work licensed CC without attributing very carefully.

I love today's remix culture. Frankly, I shoot a ton as well and could illustrate 80% of my posts with just my work. However, I love being able to highlight the work of others... and perhaps even help them to gain an even wider audience.

Amateur photographers and writers alike have few venues to gain a big following. Therefore, the more we network with one another and highlight works that speak to us personally, the more we widen the audience for people doing great things.

Thanks again!
;-)
