Wading through the sky

A fisherman tries his hand in the Fox River in Dundee, Illinois. I don't think he caught anything worth keeping. But I did with my camera.

Yes, James, I doubt very much he caught anything as nice as you did.

Did you use a polarizing filter for this? The water and reflection are lovely.

Please forgive the pun - but this image is heavenly. Beautiful values throughout - and the detail of the fisherman and the ripples of water around him are essential. A perfect composition.

heyjules, I think the only fish in that river are carp ... ugh. No filter used on this pic. Just extremely nice light at the time.

That is a great shot. Love the way the subject is off in the far corner. Gives the photo extra mystery and depth.
