Thanksgiving has passed and now I can report that the halls of my home are duly decked. I have always loved how lights play a prominent role in the decorations of the Christmas season. To me, it's a visual reminder that the light of God's love came to this world through the birth of His son.Update: This photo was selected as Photo of the Day at the Beautiful Capture group on Flickr.

(And those LED lights? They just don't do it for me. Sigh)

Last year my wife insisted that we put the big old honkin' C7 bulbs on the tree, and lots of them. Those little bulbs don't do it for me anymore, either.
Very beautiful James. I too love the lights at Christmas time - they have fascinated me since I was a child.
