Freeze frame: A small creek lies in suspended animation until the spring thaw. Twigs, leaves and even air bubbles are locked in place waiting for their release.Creation will come back to full life with the spring. I’m ready.

Lovely brown/beige hues in this - must be one of the few autumn leaves left around!

jem, there weren't too many laying about! I experimented with the contrast of using warm tones on a subject that is by nature very cold.
