Frosty Morning #1

This frosty morning was made to order. I got a lot of nice photos without having to even leave the house. Sunday's photo was taken from an upstairs window. This was taken through sliding glass doors in the living room.

I've got the lonely tree theme going again. The overnight layer of Door County frost set individual trees in stark relief against the background brush. A little selective darkening and blurring complete the photo.

A photo of loneliness, perhaps? Sadness? Hope?

What do you think?

Like the patterns of the trees at the top contrasted with the smoothness of the snow. Lots of lines and then emptiness, hmmmm not sure about what feeling, just like the look.

Stand out from the crowd.

Think for yourself.

Enjoy your unique life.

Beauty! It's just so beautiful it need not have any emotion attached, just the joy of its pure beauty.

I was definitely going through an emotional period when I took this series of photographs (today's plus Sunday's, as well as the next two I am going to post). I'm just curious as to whether anyone else sees it coming through the photographs, or whether perhaps you are viewing them through your own experiences.

Thanks, all for your kind comments!
