Stackin' by the river

... Tyler Creek in Elgin, Illinois to be exact. I built a balancing rock stack and photographed it.

Hope you find some much needed balance this weekend.

I did a google search for my favorite metaphysical store in Long Beach called Points of Light and I accidentally discovered your blog. I've spent 10 minutes looking at your photographs and I just wanted to share with you that they have inspired me!!!

Thank you for sharing your art!!!

Ditto to that comment. Hey, James, I am trying to get a hold of you to ask about using your Manitowoc lighthouse photo on my acupuncture brochure cover. My clinic is in Manitowoc on 8th street, with a view of said lighthouse. My logo is a red eclipsed moon with "stuck in Manitowoc" arched in it. Your beautiful sunrised pixeled photo would really be a great complement to the wellness attitude I'm trying to spread through this community.

Please get in touch.

I imagine there are wires and superglue hidden from view :)

Nice photo -- great rock stack

How long did it take to put this together?

Allison ... Google is my friend. Glad you enjoyed your side trip!

Janis ... I will contact you!

Dave ... no glue or wires, just plain old physics. Would you believe it took less than five minutes? It took longer to find the rocks than to get them in balance.
