I made four exposures of the Eagle Observation Tower on a cold, clear night two weekends ago. The exposure times ranged from 2 to 15 minutes. A car and a pickup truck drove through two of the exposures, adding their own light to the scene and creating lens flares as they drove past the camera I had positioned on a tripod with the shutter locked open. This is one of them. Normally, I would have just taken another shot, but it was bone-chilling cold and I just didn’t have it in me to reset and take any more. So I got what I got. The star tracks behind the tower are nice, at least.Not exactly what I planned, but something I could accept. Sort of like Mondays.
