Maybe it’s the inevitable shift from summer to autumn during the month of September. Maybe it’s the fact that I have a birthday in September. Maybe it’s the fact that today is my birthday and I get to mark the completion of one more trip around the sun.September has always been a month of mellowness for me. I get introspective and ponder what I’ve accomplished so far in this life, take inventory of shortcomings and lay plans and dream dreams of things to come.
Here I am in yesterday’s future.
