This leafy contortionist is located along a jogging/bicycle trail along the Lake Michigan shore in Evanston, Illinois. I don’t know what got the poor thing so confused in its early years, but someone in the city parks department had enough patience to let this guy work things out, which it has.There’s probably a lesson here that sometimes you need to just let someone alone to work out their own struggles, or at least have a load of patience at the ready.
