The sun may have nearly reached the destination of its daylong journey, but there are still miles to go for these motorists on Interstate 90 west of Elgin, Illinois.I spent two hours last Saturday documenting the end of a day in the rural areas west of Elgin (and some not-so rural places). The images capture the shade of night slowly enveloping the earth, the sky shifting from brilliant blue to fiery red to deepening indigo, and finally, to black.
