My daughter will probably hate me for this, but I had to submit this entry in the Photo Friday challenge to depict the word "chaos."
I have to note that she is much better about taking care of her room now than she was when this photo was taken 6 years ago.

i remember those days. i use to swear i knew where everything was in me room. but that simply just an excuse not to clean it up.
its funny how those days change. now no one can touch anything in me room as i am so meticilous about where i place anything. if something is moved i know right away.

Other than how sad your daughter looks, I'm not sure I see where the problem is. ;~D
She and her sister had just received a lecture on the importance of keeping one's room tidy. :-)

The girl in this photo just moved out for college. Room's clean.
I would have loved to have this picture at hand when my mom was screaming on how untidy my room was... I could have told her with my best grin "now.. THIS is chaos... son don't complain... can be worst !! " :D
